Teamo has been very busy! Here in this picture she was attending a celebration for another service dog. This photo was taken from the Pioneer Press. Currently Teamo is working with her new client - Chris. They have been practicing skills and spending a lot of time together. She absolutely loves Chris and his family so we're very excited about this team.

The End Of The Day
After a long day of training at Home Depot, going to work with Deb for a couple of hours ( where I have to be a good girl and lay under the desk),
and then having the afternoon to play with other dogs....
Lying down next to the newest member of the American Assistance family is a great way to end the day.
Teamo Goes To A Wedding Reception

At the end of May we had a chance to see how Teamo would do in a very controlled environment. We were invited to a wedding reception and Teamo went along. As you can see from the picture the bride and groom were happy to have Teamo at the reception. What a training tool this was. Teamo had to pay attention to me, not the children running about, not the caterer serving the food, just me. Teamo did wonderful. During supper she layed under the table without making a peep. While I was in line getting my food at the buffet table I was able to put Teamo at a down and walk to the end of the buffet table and then come back and get her. Yes, Amazing!

New Opportunity
Teamo has the chance to do some local visiting at a retirement home. She is going to be visiting with the residents there for some socialization. Teamo is already very well socialized but this will just reinforce how great it is to be out in public. :) She'll LOVE the petting kudo's.

Teamo
Teamo was donated to American Assistance Dogs by two neighboring breeders who had an accidental litter. Ooops! We wished we would've asked for more of the puppies. She is a wonderful dog. Both smart and beautiful. Linda and Bob have been working with her since she was about 14 weeks old. She just turned a year in October 2005. She has graduated obedience class and has earned her Canine Good Citizenship.
She lives with Bob and Linda and also has two cat siblings whom she LOVES to chase. She has quite the enthusiasm for working. Her favorite is to pull off Linda's socks and throw them up in the air!
This late Spring she will be due to have her hips, elbow's, and eyes tested. These are all tests a service dog must pass in order to continue in the program.
